The Detroit Catholic Campus Ministry internship program provides students, who have completed their freshman year of college, with the opportunity to gain professional and pastoral experience in a variety of ways. The position will report to and be a key partner to the Chaplain in the day-to-day operations of DCCM. The program is meant to be an opportunity for students to engage more fully in the mission of DCCM through their work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist with the daily operations of campus ministry
Coordinate with the Chaplain and staff on the planning and running of various events
Maintain the student database and help welcome new students
Aid in communications with students
Provide a welcoming and engaging presence for students
Work to connect students with the work of DCCM
Coordinate the promotion of DCCM on campus through social media and student assistance
Being a responsible and trustworthy representative of DCCM when other staff members are not present while assisting in the opening and closing of the two student centers
